Meet Ruchi, a passionate and dedicated holistic lifestyle and yoga instructor who has devoted her life to spreading the transformative power of yoga to her students. With a warm and welcoming presence, Ruchi creates a nurturing and inclusive space for practitioners of all ages and skill levels to explore the benefits of this ancient practice.
Ruchi is an ardent follower of holistic and healthy lifestyle which includes diet, nature cure, habit formation, power of sleep, Yoga philosophy of living and emotional wellbeing.
She is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor with 200 HRS TTC. She has also done various other Yoga educational courses from Morarji Desai institute and other organizations. Additionally she is a practitioner of Transcendental meditation.
Recently she has completed her Chakra Awareness and Healing Course from Living 150 Yoga & Wellness Institute.
Out of passion, post her corporate career of 17yrs in Media sales & marketing with the Print industry, she also took up Storytelling and Playback Theatre which work as a great tool for children and adults both in aiding a Therapeutic healing.
Ruchi’s journey into the world of yoga began over two decades ago when she sought relief from cervical and stress. She looked for an inner relief from a fast-paced corporate job. Feeling disconnected from her body and mind, she attended her first yoga class, and that experience was a revelation. The harmony she found in the union of movement, breath, and mindfulness ignited a spark within her, and she knew she had found her life’s calling.
She also studied the philosophy and history of yoga, incorporating its timeless wisdom into her teachings. What sets Ruchi apart as an instructor is her ability to blend tradition with innovation, making the practice accessible and relevant to the modern lives of her students.
In Ruchi’s classes, you can expect a seamless flow of postures synchronized with breath, encouraging students to be present and mindful throughout their practice. Her gentle yet firm adjustments ensure that students are aligned correctly, preventing injuries and enhancing the benefits of each pose. She encourages her students to explore their boundaries while respecting their bodies’ limitations, fostering an environment free from judgment and competition.
Beyond the physical aspects of yoga, Ruchi emphasizes on the mental and emotional dimensions of the practice. Through guided meditation and pranayama (breathwork), she empowers her students to find inner stillness and cultivate self-awareness. Her classes often revolve around a central theme, such as gratitude, self-compassion, or letting go, creating a holistic experience that extends beyond the yoga mat.
Outside the studio, Ruchi actively participates in yoga retreats and workshops, where she continues to expand her knowledge and share her expertise with a broader community. She believes in the power of community support and frequently organizes events with NGO’s to give back to local causes and create a positive impact on the world.
